American DJ Diplo recently stated in an interview that he dated Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Months after dating rumors, Katy Perry and former Canadian PM Justin Trudeau made their rumored relationship public a week ago. A clip of Diplo has now been circulating online in which he claimed to have dated both of them.
The DJ appeared on the October 7 episode of Smart Girl Dumb Questions, wherein he made a claim about dating Perry as well as Trudeau. As per media reports, Katy Perry and Diplo were romantically linked briefly in 2014. Perry even ranked the DJ "third" when she was asked to rank her exes while playing a game with James Corden on a live stream in 2017.
In the podcast interview, Diplo said that he "did date Trudeau, too." However, Diplo’s comment about dating Trudeau was clearly a joke. The podcast later confirmed this in the video's comment section when a viewer inquired if the DJ actually dated Trudeau.
