Perez Hilton weighed in after Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown publicly shared the new name she adopted after marrying Jake Bongiovi. In a December 1 article published on his website, Hilton broke down Brown’s name changes and the confusion surrounding them, referencing her recent interview with co-star Noah Schnapp.
Hilton first reacted to Brown’s newly revealed name and added:
“Millie Bobby Brown has a new name!… Millie Bon Bon! That’s too cute! Right now, she hasn’t officially changed her name in her career, so it looks like she’s still rocking Millie Bobby Brown for her roles in the foreseeable future,” Hilton wrote.

For context, Millie Bobby Brown had a November 24 sit-down with VT for a Stranger Things “Quiz On Me segment.
During the playful Q&A, Brown and Noah Schnapp were paired together as he tried to guess her legal name. His first attempt, “Millie Bonnie Brown”, was close but not entirely accurate.
Hilton explained in his article that Schnapp’s guess was only partly correct, noting that Brown’s birth name was Millie Bonnie Brown, differing from her professional name, which uses Bobby instead of Bonnie.
“Millie’s birth name is Millie Bonnie Brown, unlike her professional name which features Bobby instead of Bonnie. But she recently changed it again! After marrying Jake Bongiovi, the actress revealed she took on her hubby’s last name,” Hilton explained
Hilton then clarified how Brown corrected Schnapp a second time during the interview. When Schnapp guessed that her full legal name might be something like “Millie Bonnie Bongiovi Brown,” Hilton noted that Brown told him it “wasn’t quite right,” making it clear she had dropped the extra surnames.
“Drop the Bobby, drop the Brown. It’s just Millie Bonnie Bongiovi. That’s it. Millie Bon Bon,” Hilton added, citing what Brown told Schnapp during the interview.

Millie Bobby Brown opened up about her working relationship with longtime Stranger Things costar David Harbour after online speculation emerged about why he had not joined several cast members during recent press engagements.
In a new interview with Deadline, posted on TikTok on November 28, the 21-year-old actress reflected on filming the fifth and final season of the Netflix series and emphasized the trust she had built with Harbour over the past decade.
She explained that after working together for 10 years, she never questioned whether she felt supported or protected on set, underscoring a sense of comfort that came with such a long-standing partnership.

“We also play father and daughter so naturally, you have a closer bond than the rest, because we have had some really intense scenes together, especially in season two,” she added.
She further emphasized that her relationship with Harbour had always been positive, describing it as built on respect and collaboration. She noted that working with him continually pushed her to perform at her best.
“It makes me wanna bring my A-game every single time I see that I’m on the call sheet working with him because I know he’s bringing it right back.”
Beyond these remarks, Brown also spoke about their “great relationship” and called their work together a “labor of love,” explaining that Harbour’s dedication often elevated her own craft.
