English broadcaster Piers Morgan recently sat with conservative podcaster Tucker Carlson to discuss culture and other issues in England. In the November 26 episode of The Tucker Carlson Show, the two media personalities debated England's role in World War II. While discussing the aftermath of the war, Carlson argued that it changed London.

Morgan, on the other hand, challenged the interview host's view. However, Carlson emphasized that after the war, the demographics of England had undergone significant changes. He also claimed that by 2063, the country would become a "minority white country." Replying to Carlson, Morgan said, "So what?" Tucker Carlson opined that multiculturalism has led to a change in England's culture.

Piers Morgan stated that he loved living in a multicultural society. Tucker Carlson went on to ask what aspects of British culture Morgan hadn't liked and felt had been improved by new cultures.

"Let me tell you, if you came to London in the 50s and 60s, the food was crap. Absolute crap. Inedible. Now, we have some of the best gastronomy in the world," Morgan replied.

Irish political commentator Michael McCarthy responded to Piers Morgan's remarks, challenging his view. Disputing the English broadcaster's stance, McCarthy wrote on X:

"They would have you replaced and your home changed forever over a curry."

On Thursday, the British media personality responded to McCarthy's post and wrote:

"There are a lot of white English people I would happily trade for a good weekly chicken tikka masala."

In addition to McCarthy, many other people contested Morgan's comment. Journalist Lewis Brackpool referred to Piers Morgan's statement as "evil." However, the English media personality clapped back by commenting:

"I do love a good curry."

On November 28, a user picked up Morgan's post about "chicken tikka masala" and called him an "enemy of the English people." Hitting back at this tweet, Morgan wrote:

"Only of gigantically stupid race-baiting berks like you."

The user responded in a tweet and wrote, "You'll see us replaced for a curry. S*um." In a sharp rebuttal, Piers Morgan commented:

"I’d trade you for a poppadum."

In the Wednesday episode of The Tucker Carlson Show, Morgan and Carlson also touched on the issue of "free speech" in England. The American podcaster highlighted an incident in which a woman was allegedly arrested in England for calling a man a "f*ggot" and "convicted of a hate crime." Tucker Carlson added that people should be "allowed to be homophobic," if they want, in a "free country."

Morgan cleared his stance on the "trans debate" and said that people don't need to say "derogatory stuff" to make their points. He questioned Carlson if he would use the word. The right-wing political commentator repeated the word multiple times and asked the British media personality if he would say it on camera. Morgan outrightly denied it.

Many on the internet speculated that Piers Morgan's aversion seemed to stem from a fear of getting arrested. However, the broadcaster took to X to clarify his position. Reacting to a post bashing him for not saying "f*ggot" on camera, Morgan wrote:

"This clip has been wrongly interpreted… as I told Tucker, I wouldn’t say it because I think it’s an offensive derogatory slur against gay people, not because I was too scared in case someone arrested me… I wouldn’t say the N-word for the same reason."

Tucker Carlson and Piers Morgan also debated other socio-economic issues in England. However, Carlson praised the English media personality for promoting "free speech" by providing a stage to many people on his show.
