Political commentator Candace Owens reacted to Erika Kirk's latest interview in which she addressed conspiracy theories about Charlie Kirk's death. On December 10, TPUSA's new CEO appeared on Outnumbered and discussed the unverified claims circulating on the internet in the aftermath of her husband's murder.

Fox News host Harris Faulkner pointed out that many people have raised questions about Charlie Kirk's undisclosed burial site. Responding to speculation, Charlie Kirk's wife urged people to leave something personal to her.

"Can I have one thing? Can my babies have one thing? Where we hold it sacred? Where my husband is laid to rest?" Kirk said in the interview.

Without naming her, Erika Kirk also seemingly aimed at Candace Owens, who has accused TPUSA of a "cover-up" of Charlie Kirk's assassination. In her interview, TPUSA's top executive hit out at those who allegedly smeared Kirk's organization. She blasted conspiracy theorists for "making hundreds and thousands of dollars every single episode, going after the people" she loves.

Hours after Erika Kirk's interview aired, Candace Owens responded on her podcast. The former Daily Wire host questioned Charlie Kirk’s wife for asking for privacy after sharing the video in which she was grieving over her husband’s body. Reacting to the clip in which Erika Kirk conveyed that she wanted to keep her husband's grave a secret, Owens said:

"Objectively, I agree with what she's saying. Okay. But subjectively, because we are dealing with the subject of Erika Kirk and what transpired immediately following Charlie's assassination, this is going to be read as 'Meghan Markle Syndrome.' Okay, Meghan Markle syndrome, where you want privacy when you want it, but you want publicity whenever you want it."

Candace Owens stated that Erika Kirk shouldn't have recorded herelf over her husband's casket. She agreed with TPUSA's CEO's opinion that "everyone grieves differently." Owens added that she would never record herself over a casket.

"To publish his dead body on Instagram was a decision that was made by Erika... And now you fast forward 3 months removed and it's 'Why does the public want to know where he's buried?' It doesn't work like that," Candace Owens commented.

In the Wednesday episode of Outnumbered, Charlie Kirk's widow said she was fine with people targeting her but would not accept an attack on her "Turning Point family." She called the controversies surrounding TPUSA a "mind virus." The TPUSA Board Chairperson slammed people monetizing her husband's death.

Candace Owens attacked Erika Kirk for defending TPUSA and remarked that the organization "told many lies." She further highlightd the alleged donations received by Turning Point after Kirk's death.

"To that point that people are making hundreds and thousands of dollars I just don't get how there's not someone on this very large PR team, as we're seeing these PR campaigns go out, that doesn't go, 'Hey, maybe we should strike that'... Since Charlie has died, that organization has taken in $140 million. But gosh darn you people that are making hundreds of dollars every day on YouTube," Candace Owens said.

Elsewhere in the podcast, Owens critiqued Erika Kirk for appearing on multiple shows and not sparing time for answering questions. She went on to question her position as a CEO and said her response had no "logic."

"I hate to say this, but I'm going to be very clear here. This is why there are many people who do not believe that women are equipped to lead companies because what you are watching here is an unbelievably emotional response that is absent of any logic," Owens commented.

Candace Owens came into the crosshairs of many for calling out Erika Kirk. However, the podcaster doubled down on her claims. In her X post, she called it "absurd notion" that she couldn't question an organization because its CEO referred to it as a family.
