Charlie Kirk's wife, Erika Kirk, has hit out at Candace Owens in her recent interviews. On Thursday, CBS shared a clip from its upcoming town hall event featuring TPUSA's CEO as a guest. In the shared interview clip, Erika Kirk addressed the accusations made by Candace Owens against Turning Point. Charlie Kirk's widow snubbed Owens and asked her to "stop."

In a previous podcast episode, Candace Owens claimed that Charlie Kirk sent a text message a day before his death saying, "They're going to kill me." On Thursday, Erika Kirk sat down for an interview with Glenn Beck. In this interview, she took another cryptic shot at the conservative podcaster and refuted the claim about the text message.

She noted that while her husband was aware of the risk to his life, he did not send any such text message.

"He was not messaging people the day before saying, 'I'm going to be murdered. They're coming after me. Someone's going to kill me.' He didn't say that. And I have his cell phone," Charlie Kirk's wife stated.

Candace Owens responded to Erika Kirk's statement during her appearance on the December 12 episode of The Jimmy Dore Show. The former Daily Wire host claimed that the TPUSA spokesperson, Andrew Kolvet, himself told her about the text message. She said:

"I got that directly from Andrew Kolvet. He asked me to keep it off record, and I would have kept it off record if Erika did not imply that I lied... So, we have a scenario here where either Andrew Kolvet has told an explicit lie or Erika Kirk is telling an explicit lie... I believe that she has his phone. I also think maybe somebody deleted it, but I don't know why Andrew Kolvet 48 hours after Charlie was dead, would lie to me."

Owens said that Andrew Kolvet did not sound like he was lying and seemed very "concerned." She also added that, in addition to Kolvet, another TPUSA member confirmed the existence of the aforementioned text message.

Later in her conversation with Jimmy Dore, Owens remarked that TPUSA was in "a late-stage psychosis" and attempting to convince people not to look at "lies." She added that she didn't care if TPUSA survives if the organization turns into the exact opposite of what Charlie Kirk wanted. Taking a swipe at Erika Kirk's recent interviews with media houses, Candace Owens commented,

"Charlie did not believe in the establishment media. He did not believe that you should only speak to the New York Times and trust CBS News... The whole point of helping to build that organization was that it didn't want to become the RNC... That is what Turning Point USA is becoming.... We have money. We can get Bari Weiss to write a good article about us... That's not going to pass."

In Glenn Beck's podcast, Erika Kirk expressed her concern about a tainted jury pool due to social media influence. She commented that people lack knowledge of how a trial works. Candace Owens hit back at Erika Kirk's comments and said,

"Nothing they are saying makes sense. And pretending that it's because it would somehow diminish the case against Tyler Robinson again requires us to suspend our rationality. If something that we present ruins the case, then you didn't have a case to begin with."
