Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton recently mourned the passing of renowned fashion designer Pam Hogg, acknowledging it as a loss to the fashion industry. The podcaster expressed his grief in his blog article titled, Beloved Celebrity Fashion Designer Pam Hogg Dead At 66: 'She Leaves A Magnificent Legacy.' Hilton opened with the statement:

“The fashion world has lost a true icon.”

Pam Hogg was reported to have died at the age of 66. Although the late fashion designer's age was never officially announced on record, several media sources, including Perez Hilton, claim she was 66 at the moment of her death.

The death of the Scottish fashion designer Pam Hogg was announced through Instagram on November 26, 2025. She passed away in St Joseph's Hospice in Hackney, London. Although the cause of her death was not revealed, the family said her final days were peaceful and that she had love and care all around her.

An official statement released by Hogg's family on social media read:

“The Hogg Family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Pamela. We are grateful in the knowledge that her final hours were peaceful and surrounded by the loving care of cherished friends and family.”

They also appreciated the staff at the hospice for their constant support, writing:

“We wish to thank all the staff of St Joseph’s Hospice, Hackney, for the beautiful support they provided for Pamela in her final days.”

Reflecting on her life and accomplishments, the statement added:

“Pamela’s creative spirit and body of work touched the lives of many people of all ages, and she leaves behind a magnificent legacy that will continue to inspire, bring joy and challenge us to live beyond the confines of convention. Pamela will continue to live in our hearts and minds. A glorious life lived and loved.”

Pam Hogg had worked in the fashion industry for over 40 years and was known for her modern designs.

The Scottish fashion designer started her career in the early 1980s. Her training took place at the Glasgow School of Art and the Royal College of Art in London, and she became known for her bold designs, which included cat suits, latex, and stage wear.

She dressed celebrities such as Rihanna, Beyoncé, Shakira, Lady Gaga, Kylie Minogue, Björk, and Kate Moss, and also shaped the aesthetic of fashion through red-carpet appearances, music videos, and tours worldwide.

Hogg’s work was appreciated not only by international celebrities but also by members of the British royal family. As per the BBC, Princess Diana was once seen wearing one of her dresses, and in 2013, Princess Eugenie wore a custom-made Hogg hat at Ascot.

Pam Hogg's family has not shared further details about the late fashion designer's funeral.
