During the interview, host Justin Laboy asked Sukihana whether women in the industry, including herself, ever engaged in s*x work or if such claims were simply exaggerated “for good music.”

Sukihana responded that many artists did indeed participate in sex work. She then directly mentioned Saweetie, saying she believed the rapper was also involved in s*x work and that her public image would benefit from greater transparency.

“I mean, yeah. The f*ck? All these h*es sell pu**y. All of them. Especially these rap b**ches. Like, Saweetie, I ain’t even gonna lie. I’m not even trying to be funny or like, Saweetie, people will really f*ck with you more if you just live in your truth,” Sukihana said.

During the interview, Sukihana also elaborated on the rapper’s complicated relationship with her fan base. She said many Black women, especially those from “ghetto” or working-class backgrounds similar to her own, wanted to support Saweetie but often felt conflicted.

“Because a lot of the ghetto girls like me, well, a lot of the girls, Black girls, Black community, everybody, they be trying to get into you. And that’s the reason why they like double dutch. Like they jump in, they jump out cause they don’t believe you,” she explained.

She added that some audiences felt Saweetie came across as a “fake ghetto girl.”

“So when you be making your bops and sh*t… they be thinking that you like a fake ghetto girl. And it’s just cause they can’t figure you out,” she added.

During her recent conversation with host Justin LaBoy, Sukihana expanded on her earlier comments about Saweetie, urging the Best Friend hitmaker to embrace transparency.

Suki clarified that her criticism was not about the rapper’s career or talent but about what she viewed as a lack of authenticity in how the rapper presented herself.

“And it’s like, b*tch, if you selling that a**, you selling that a**, whatever you doing, like that’s what you do. But you just need to say what the f*ck you doing,” she said.

Sukihana added that audiences often wanted a deeper sense of realness from artists, explaining that the My Type singer’s self-descriptions, such as mentioning her zodiac sign, were not enough to create that connection.

She explained :

“Because that little bit of authenticity that they don’t feel like you give… they want that from you. Like you keep saying you’re a cancer. We need more than that, b**ch. If you selling that a*s, you selling that a*s

During this discussion, LaBoy interpreted the Selling singer’s remarks as implying that Saweetie should quit rapping.

However, the singer immediately clarified her position. She said she did not want the rapper to stop making music but simply wanted her to “live” in her “truth.”

“No, no, no, no, no. I don’t think she should stop. I don’t think she should stop rapping. I just feel like… just live in your truth, whatever the f*ck it is that you do,” she added.

Suki went on to say that living authentically applied to everyone, “whether you a ni**a that buy pu**y” or anyone else who engaged in things they might hesitate to admit. Her point was that people should own their actions rather than hide behind an image.

She explained that she attracted fans because of this candor, noting that nobody could “ever really” call her out on anything because she was always open about who she was and what she did.

Sukihana’s aforementioned remarks came just weeks after promoter Maybach May publicly accused Saweetie of owing her money and suggested that the rapper's rumored relationship with soccer star Jadon Sancho was financially motivated.

May claimed that during a work trip to Africa, she believed the rapper had been intentionally avoiding her. She implied that the rapper was “playing internet games,” warning that she might take the issue to TMZ if she didn’t receive the money she said was owed.

“I see you playing internet games…[Let me know] how you want to play this, I’m either going to receive my [money] from you, or I can start addressing some of them rumors [with] TMZ. We spent almost a month in Africa, you should know I wasn’t gone let you play me out some money,” May wrote in a series of since-deleted posts (as per Complex)

Her claims intensified speculation about the rapper being in the escort service after she referred to Jadon Sancho as a “client,” which fueled online theories that she was acting as a madam rather than a promoter.

Saweetie later addressed the accusations directly on Instagram, firmly rejecting May’s claims.

She described the allegations as “false, defamatory, and deeply disturbing,” stressing that they misrepresented the situation and were intended to harm her reputation.

“These claims misrepresent the facts and are solely aimed to damage my reputation…This person never managed me. She was simply introduced to me by family. Her motives are now obvious. I’ll let the lawyers take it from here,” she said (as per Complex).

Saweetie returned to the spotlight with her solo track Boffum, released on July 18, 2025, as part of her Hella Pressure EP.

Meanwhile, Sukihana’s song Up On Me, dropped on October 31, 2025.
