Zack Peter has shared his thoughts on a woman's lawsuit, claiming she is allegedly Miley Cyrus' real mother. He labeled it "wackadoodle" and added that not all lawsuits imply guilt, as allegedly referenced by this case.

As per a report by the Daily Mail, published on December 7, a woman named Jayme Lee filed a lawsuit in Tennessee in May this year. She alleged that she gave birth to Cyrus in 1992 when she was just 12. She added that she allegedly signed a "private adoption agreement" with Billy Ray and Tish, who are known as the pop star's parents.

As per the lawsuit, Lee claims that Billy Ray 'wrongfully assumed the role' of Cyrus's father without her consent. She also claimed that, as per the agreement, she could've chosen Miley Cyrus' name and also eventually worked as her nanny and piano teacher, neither of which happened.

Reacting to this report, podcast Zack Peter put out a video on social media on December 8. In his post on X (formerly Twitter), he started by saying:

"Wackadoodle time, because this new Miley Cyrus lawsuit is crazy."

Peter went on to explain the entire case and how the court dismissed Jayme Lee's lawsuit. He added:

"And that's why when I say that frivolous lawsuits happen all the time, and just because somebody is getting sued does not automatically imply that something happened or automatically imply that someone is guilty. A wackadoodle can file a lawsuit under false pretences or just because she claims she has a repressed memory that she discovered in therapy one day."

Jayme Lee, meanwhile, requested a supervised DNA maternity and paternity test for both Billy Ray and Tish, but the court declined it.

Jayme Lee filed an amended lawsuit in June this year, accusing Billy Ray and Tish of alleged "breach of contract, fraud and misrepresentation, intentional inflection of emotional distress and unlawful interference with parental rights."

She further stated in the lawsuit:

"At 12, in 1992, I was trying to find a lawyer to help me get visitation of Miley but I was brutally attacked and placed in a state of trauma until recently remembering how I came to be the parent of Miley."

Billy Ray then filed a motion in court on November 20, requesting dismissal of all her allegations, labeling them "false and absurd." He added that these claims have been "clearly brought for the purposes of harassing."

Ray's attorney, Chase LanCarte, told Daily Mail on December 5:

"The Court dismissed the lawsuit with prejudice this morning and awarded Mr Cyrus the recovery of his reasonable and necessary attorney's fees and costs."

Billy Ray and Tish were married from 1993 to 2022. They had Miley Cyrus in 1992, and had two more kids together: son Braison (1994) and daughter Noah (2000). Ray had also adopted Brandi Cyrus and Trace Cyrus from Tish's previous marriage to Baxter Neal Helson. Ray and Tish filed for divorce in April 2022.
