Popular podcaster Perez Hilton has recently reacted to Heidi Klum's intricate Halloween ensemble. The 52-year-old supermodel looked almost unrecognizable, dressed as the mythological Medusa using intricate prosthetic work and makeup. Klum was covered in prosthetic green scales all the way down to her slithering tail, resembling a rattlesnake. The Project Runway judge also sported animatronic snakes on her head, along with fangs, artificial lenses, dentures, and much more to complete the ensemble. To portray the wrath of Medusa, Klum's husband, Tom Kaulitz, dressed up as a Greek soldier who had been turned to stone.Perez Hilton waxed lyrical about Heidi Klum's "terrifying" ensemble on his blog, calling her "The Queen of Halloween." Some of her favorite features of her look included her "custom split tongue" and the mechanical snakes on her head. As per Heidi Klum, the snakes were designed so that they could all move independently. Finally, she thanked the artists who racked their brains for months to make it a reality. One of them was Mike Marino, a three-time Oscar nominee for his work in hits like A Different Man, Coming 2 America, and The Batman. “He is a great collaborator, because he can not only bring the costume to life, but also comes up with ideas to make it even bigger and better," raved Heidi Klum about Marino.In all, it reportedly took 15 people's collaborative effort and six months to transform Heidi Klum into Medusa.
