Congress member Marjorie Taylor Greene has opened up about her fallout with President Trump in her recent interview. For the unversed, President Trump pulled his support for the Republican leader last month. Consequently, she accused the POTUS of lying and claimed that his anger stemmed from her insistence on the release of the Epstein Files.

President Trump even referred to MTG as a "traitor" in his Truth Social post and in an interview with journalists. The representative from Georgia announced her resignation from Congress last month, days after the Epstein Files Transparency Act was passed. Greene recently appeared on 60 Minutes, where she spoke about her feud with Donald Trump.

In the interview with Lesley Stahl, aired on Sunday, the congress member stated that President Trump was "extremely angry" at her after she signed the discharge petition to release Epstein files. Describing her alleged conversation with the President, Marjorie Taylor Greene stated:

"He was furious with me... He said that it was going to hurt people... I had told him, I said, 'You know, you have all kinds of people come in the White House.' Have these women come in the White House. These women deserve to be heard."

Stressing Greene's claim, Stahl asked her whether the POUTS actually said, "People will get hurt." The congresswoman reaffirmed, saying:

"'People will get hurt.' I don't know what that means. I don't know who they are."

Marjorie Taylor Greene often questioned the President's foreign policy. The Republican leader suggested that the POTUS must focus on "America first" rather than traveling to different nations. In the Sunday interview, Stahl asked what Greene meant when she said, "Air Force One should be parked."

"For an America First president. The number one focus should have been domestic policy, and it wasn't. And so, of course, I was critical because those were my campaign promises. Once we fix everything here, then fine, we'll talk to the rest of the world," MTG responded.

"I got a pipe bomb threat on my house, and then I got several direct death threats on my son," the Congress member stated.

The interview host asked Greene whether she blamed President Trump for the threats against her son. The representative of Georgia's 14th district replied:

"The subject line for the direct death threats on my son was, in his words, 'Marjorie Traitor Greene.' Those are death threats directly fueled by President Trump."

Marjorie Taylor Greene mentioned that she had conveyed details related to the alleged threats to the Vice President and the President himself. She claimed that while JD Vance assured her of looking into the matter, the response from the POTUS "wasn't very nice."
