Milo Yiannopoulos has shared his thoughts on the alleged rise of homosexuality among the Republican Party. The far-right political commentator claimed responsibility for it and slammed the likes of Lady MAGA.
Milo Yiannopoulos previously identified as gay before he announced in 2021 that he had become "ex gay". The political commentator has also often spoken against feminism, social justice, and Islam, among others. He gave an interview with Tucker Carlson, an American conservative political commentator, released on the latter's YouTube channel on December 4.
Yiannopoulos spoke about different demographics influencing the political support and mentioned the alleged similarities between white single moms and gay people. He said:
"Mantle over from, you know, what we used to. I mean, we used to say, didn’t we? We used to say white single moms, the root of all evil. Like as, you know, kind of half joking because of all this crazy stuff they support. But now it’s homosexuals."
"I have to be honest with you, I bear some responsibility for this, because it was me 10 years ago mainstreaming homosexuality into the Republican Party. It’s the great regret of my life, more so than anything I’ve done to my own soul, which is a lot. It’s the great regret of my life because it has given rise to horrors I never imagined," he added.
He also slammed the likes of Nick Fuentes and Lady MAGA, saying:
"[Vladimir] Lenin said, 'All revolutionaries come to hate their children,' while the gay horrors that I’ve given birth to, Lady Marga, Nick Fuentes, I mean, they keep me up at night. They keep me up at night."
Milo Yiannopoulos also criticized Dave Rubin, a conservative political commentator, who came out as gay in 2006.
When Milo Yiannopoulos labeled himself "ex-gay"

In an interview with Life Site in March 2021, Milo Yiannopoulos claimed that he was no longer gay. He claimed that while he only used to say that he was gay to allegedly torment his mother, he did adopt some part of the gay lifestyle.
Yiannopoulos said:
“When I used to kid that I only became gay to torment my mother, I wasn’t entirely joking. Of course, I was never wholly at home in the gay lifestyle — Who is? Who could be? — and only leaned heavily into it in public because it drove liberals crazy to see a handsome, charismatic, intelligent gay man riotously celebrating conservative principles."
“That’s not to say I didn’t throw myself enthusiastically into degeneracy of all kinds in my private life. I suppose I felt that’s all I deserved. I’d love to say it was all an act, and I’ve been straight this whole time, but even I don’t have that kind of commitment to performance art. Talk about method acting,” he added.
Yiannopoulos also claimed that he will work to "rehabilitate what the media calls ‘conversion therapy'" in the next decade. As per an interview with The Post in March 2021, he also claimed that he is set to open a 'conversion therapy facility' in Florida.
