Podcaster Alex Jones recently sparked an online conversation after posting a picture of himself and Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney seemingly hosting a Thanksgiving dinner together. The debate began after parody account @AlexJonesIA posted a photoshopped or AI-generated image of Sydney Sweeney and Alex Jones holding a roasted turkey on a platter, captioning it, "Excited to spend Thanksgiving in our new house."In the photo, Jones is wearing a Johnny Cash grey T-shirt and dark pants, while Sweeney is seen wearing the pale blue custom Miu Miu gown she wore at the 35th GLAAD Media Awards in March 2024.On November 27, 2025, Alex Jones quote-tweeted the AI-generated photo on his official X account, captioning it:"Happy thanksgiving to all of my fellow Americans as we continue to battle for the future of our republic."In a follow-up post, Alex Jones continued the joke, writing that Sydney Sweeney "even helped [him] stuff the turkey." However, he explained the situation in a video attached to the post, adding that the image was either photoshopped or AI-generated and not real, adding:"Happy Thanksgiving 2025. And yes, it's true, I'm dating Sydney Sweeney. It's very, very exciting. She's over at the house today, we're going to have delicious turkey. It's gonna be a lot of fun. Now, on a serious note, I saw a viral post where, I guess some folks photoshopped, or it's AI, I can't tell, an image of myself and the model, who also stands up for basic rights and American values, so I do like her. And so I reposted it, and it went even more viral."Additionally, Alex Jones claimed that "the left" was "triggered" by his repost and accused the podcaster of being "deceptive" or "bad." My jeans are blue."Amid the backlash, Alex Jones took to his X account on August 11, 2025, to post an AI-generated video of Sydney Sweeney seemingly promoting Methylene blue. For the uninitiated, Methylene blue is used to treat methemoglobinemia, which is a rare blood condition.Meanwhile, Sweeney addressed the American Eagle controversy during an interview with GQ earlier this month. The actress said she didn't issue a statement earlier because she "always believed that I’m not here to tell people what to think … when I have an issue that I want to speak about, people will hear.” She further added that the criticism didn't affect her, saying:“I kind of just put my phone away.
