Political commentator Candace Owens has cast many doubts surrounding Charlie Kirk's assassination. Lately, the conservative podcaster raised eyebrows at Kirk’s organization, TPUSA. The former Daily Wire host sat for an interview with Myron Gaines on his podcast and discussed her theories surrounding the activist’s death.

In the latest episode of Gaines' podcast, released on November 18, Candace Owens accused Turning Point USA of lying. She went on to claim that Charlie Kirk allegedly sent a message about a death threat to a TPUSA member the day before his murder. Following these assertions, the host asked her thoughts on how Erika Kirk had been dealing with people in the "closest circle" of Charlie Kirk.

The conservative commentator alleged that many on TPUSA wanted to "launch" Mikey McCoy as the "new Charlie." She further said that many on the internet had allegedly questioned Erika Kirk’s parents’ past. Candace Owens stated that she had not found that Charlie Kirk's wife had told any lies.

"People that catch my attention are people who are telling verifiable lies. Okay? Erika thus far has not told any verifiable lies... So there's two things. She could be on autopilot, and some people could be reading that the wrong way and thinking, 'Oh well, she's like she's not acting right.' Okay. Is she on autopilot because she fears something? Right? Again, we don't know what's happening behind the scenes," Owens said.

The media personality added that a person would naturally have "some level of fear" after witnessing someone get assassinated. Owens told Gaines that she had not found anything concerning Erika Kirk in her "investigation."

Notably, podcasters like Ben Shapiro and Steven Crowder accused Candace Owens of maligning Erika Kirk's name. However, she challenged Shapiro's accusation in her November 7 tweet and wrote:

"Ben Shapiro took the stage last night with @megynkelly and lied through his teeth. He said that I accused Erika Kirk of murdering Charlie Kirk. This quite literally is made up out of thin air."

She also addressed Steven Crowder's accusations in her November 17 podcast. Candace Owens claimed that many were attempting to create the impression that she had targeted Erika Kirk, rather than "more obviously suggesting that people at Turning Point USA betrayed him."

Candace Owens claims that two Egyptian planes had been "tracking" Erika Kirk for years

In her podcast episode streamed on November 17, Candace Owens added fresh claims in her Egyptian planes theory surrounding Charlie Kirk's death. The conservative podcaster questioned the presence of an Egyptian military aircraft at Provo Airport on the day Kirk was killed. She attempted to link the plane with Kirk's assassination in her recent X posts and videos.

However, on the Monday episode of Candace, she noted that two Egyptian aircraft had been monitoring Erika Kirk for years. Owens remarked that her unnamed source, after 15 hours of research, allegedly found that the planes were not tracking Charlie Kirk but his wife.

"The person the planes were actually tracking for years was Erika, not Charlie... And indeed, it turns out that she was correct. She discovered that between 2022 and September of 2025, both of those aircrafts, SU-BTT, the yellow plane, and SU-BND, the blue plane, showed 68 overlaps with Erika's documented locations. Okay, 68 overlaps. I have since been able to add now 73 times that this overlapped," she stated.

In addition to her comments on TPUSA and Erika Kirk, Candace Owens also raised doubts about the ongoing investigation into Kirk’s assassination. On Gaines' podcast, she stated that she believed that the alleged shooter, Tyler Robinson, was a "patsy."
