Candace Owens recently discussed what she believed happened on the day Charlie Kirk was shot, speaking at length during Myron Gaines’ livestream. This video was uploaded to YouTube on November 18, 2025.
Gaines opened the discussion by stating that he didn’t believe the public narrative. He then elaborated on why he felt the narrative surrounding the incident was flawed, pointing to gaps and inconsistencies.
"There's a lot of problems with it, right? Between a 30-06: Why don't we have the full footage of him taking the shot, then running off? You only showed him running. Um the text messages are strange… they didn't show him taking a shot, but they have him running across the roof. So, it's like, how do you not have him prone shooting the shot?" he asked.
Owens echoed this frustration, arguing that withholding the actual moment of the shooting while releasing footage of someone running afterward left a significant gap in the timeline.
Gaines then pressed Owens to offer a broader interpretation of what she believed occurred. He remarked that he already knew she was “investigating and figuring everything out” regarding the events of the day, but still wanted her to give “a quick summary” of what she thought “transpired,” who might have been “responsible,” and a "rough timeline."
Owens responded by laying out what she called her “guess” based on the information she had so far.
She suggested that Tyler Robinson’s involvement appeared limited to his fingerprints being found on the gun, emphasizing that he was not the only person whose prints were present and implying that this detail had not been fully acknowledged publicly.
"This is a guess, and this is just like if I had to guess right now where I’m at. And this I—I think Tyler Robinson’s only contribution was that he had his prints on the gun. I know that his prints were not the only prints that were on the gun, which is something that they haven’t been honest about," Candace Owens said
She also suspected that Charlie Kirk’s alleged killer’s “driver,” Lance Twiggs, identified as the transgender partner of the alleged shooter, had been involved as well.
According to Owens, Twiggs was “much more involved.” Although she maintained that she did not believe he took the shot, she indicated that Twiggs was likely more deeply connected to the events of that day.
What more did Candace Owens claim happened on Charlie Kirk's shooting day?

During the aforementioned discussion with Myron Gaines, Candace Owens expanded on what she believed took place on the day Charlie Kirk was shot.
Owens claimed that the individuals allegedly involved, including accused shooter Tyler Robinson, were compromised or coerced in the lead-up to the incident. She suggested that the events surrounding the shooting resembled a coordinated effort rather than the actions of a single individual.
"I mean, the whole thing is like it was an operation with blackmailed people," Candace Owens said.
She then emphasized that, in her view, multiple people were “involved that day” when Charlie Kirk was shot. Owens claimed these roles were divided and planned out, with different individuals allegedly assigned to handle various tasks.
“One person maybe(was) just supposed to run across the rooftop. Uh another I think Tyler Robinson all his job was to pick up clothes. I think literally he didn’t step foot on campus that day, and his job was to get rid of the clothes next to the Dairy Queen into some cemetery, which I broke…so his role was to pick up clothes,” Candace Owens explained
Owens also claimed what she believed Robinson’s partner, Lance Twiggs' role was: “walking” across the University neighbourhood in the backpack.
Here, Candace Owens connected her claim to a TMZ video published on September 13, which showed a man walking toward Utah Valley University’s campus hours before the assassination.
The man in the footage appeared to be casually strolling through a residential area in Orem, Utah, wearing an outfit nearly identical to what officials said Tyler Robinson wore on the morning of the shooting: a maroon shirt, black cap, light-colored shorts, and sneakers.
However, Owens argued that the man in the footage was not Robinson at all, but rather Robinson’s partner, Lance Twiggs.
She also claimed that the man “walking up the stairs” in one of the alleged evidence footage “didn’t even have the same body,” as the alleged Charlie Kirk killer, citing this as another sign of what she considered inconsistencies in the official narrative.
All of this, Candace Owens claimed, proved that the Charlie Kirk shooting operation relied on using “patsies” assigned to carry out “different roles.”
During their conversation, Myron Gaines also questioned the official account, saying that the details released publicly only intensified uncertainty.
"They've created more questions than answers…Which is obviously the problem here," he added.
Charlie Kirk was fatally shot in the neck on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, and 22-year-old Tyler James Robinson was arrested as the primary suspect.
