This came after Owens posted multiple screenshots of her conversation with the late conservative activist about Ben Shapiro. For context, Owens had previously worked in Shapiro's The Daily Wire between 2021 and 2024, and parted ways with the media outlet after clashing with Shapiro about the Hamas attack in Israel.In his X post, McCormick claimed that he ran the screenshots through ChatGPT.
