Conservative commentator Candace Owens recently claimed that she received a tip from a federal agent claiming Turning Point USA (TPUSA) made a “personal request” to have Owens’ reporting about two Egyptian planes suppressed.

In the brief clip of Candace Owens shared via X (formerly Twitter) on December 3, 2025, by Evan Kilgore, Owens appears to say that “a Fed” tipped her off, and that the idea TPUSA sought to suppress any news of the Egyptian plane “makes my stomach turn.”

"What is it about these Egyptian planes that Turning Point USA didn't want them to be discussed? I don't know. But I am going to find out. I think we kind of have found out in a weird really effed up way, actually. It makes my stomach turn."

The allegation arrives amid Candace Owens’ ongoing public campaign to tie unexplained flight-tracking data to the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, a line of inquiry she has pressed since mid-November.

Candace Owens did not present any evidence to support these claims.

More about Candace Owens' allegations regarding Egyptian planes

Candace Owens has repeatedly pointed to flight-tracking data that she says show two Egyptian aircraft appeared repeatedly near locations visited by Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk’s wife, and that the same aircraft were present at Provo Airport on September 10, 2025, the day Charlie Kirk was shot in Utah.

According to media coverage in mid-November, Owens said one of the airplanes’ transponders was active at Provo from about 9:05–10:34 a.m., then reactivated 17 minutes after the shooting at 12:40 p.m., remaining on until about 1:29 p.m. She has also said records suggest rental cars were assigned to passengers of those flights and has urged the public to come forward with tips.

Candace Owens framed these findings as suspicious and has suggested they point to foreign surveillance tied to the broader questions she raises about Charkie Kirk’s death in September 2025. She has acknowledged much of this is circumstantial, offering hypotheses such as routine maintenance or specialized communications equipment as alternate explanations, but has pressed for more transparency and answers.

Authorities have reportedly arrested a suspect in the shooting; Utah police charged 22-year-old Tyler Robinson in connection with Kirk’s killing, and law enforcement has not publicly corroborated Owens’ foreign-surveillance theories.

In the clip posted by Evan Kilgore on December 3, 2025, Candace Owens said she would investigate further and that the tip “makes my stomach turn.” Owens has also argued that Turning Point USA knew about the flights and has questioned why the organization did not publicly address the data when she raised it; she said that silence resembled historical patterns of suppressing contested narratives.

The information released by Owens and the unnamed tipster remains unverified by independent sources as well as the authorities. Owen’s public appeals and the dissemination of flight-tracking details have drawn intense online attention and criticism, and she has encouraged the public to submit tips and material related to the planes and associated vehicles.

Meanwhile, official investigators have not confirmed foreign involvement in the Charlie Kirk case in the material cited above; the arrest of a local suspect was reported in mid-November. Owens says she will continue probing the matter.
