Jackson [who is also one of the three co-skippers of Nebraska Volleyball] attended the post-match press conferences alongside Virginia Adriano. She was asked about how the Nebraska Volleyball players made their defense so effective against the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Jackson revealed the no-nonsense approach towards the game as she stated,

"I just think how consistent our ball control was. We talked about it before the game is, we've worked really this weekend, this whole season. And so we were going to go out and we were going to play Nebraska Volleyball and simply like as simple as it is, it's just ball control and controlling the things that we know how to control." "Big Ten is not easy to win, and we were just talking about it in the locker room, and we want to celebrate it. It's a really cool thing. Obviously, it is a shared right now, but hopefully we can take it for ourselves. We are ready for the champs, but we wanna celebrate for what it is, but then also understand that we are not done yet, and there's still a long journey ahead of us. December is coming up, selections are coming up. So we are gonna be focused on the rest of the Big Ten season, but then when things end, we are gonna be focused on what's next." (0:24 onwards)

The Nebraska Cornhuskers came super close to ending the NCAA title drought twice in 2023 and 2024, only to miss the opportunity by a whisker. However, coach Dani Busboom Kelly and the Nebraska Volleyball players are more than determined not to let go of the golden opportunity this time around.
