The Huskers contested the Penn State for the second time in this season on November 28, 2025. The team maintained their unbeaten streak of 29-0 by dominating the match. They claimed a 25-14, 25-11, 25-14 sweep against their opponents at the John Cook Arena in front of a crowd of 8,537 people.

Last year, the Penn State prevailed over the Nebraska team in the semi-final round, claiming a 23-25, 18-25, 25-23, 28-26, 15-13 win. With this year's win, the Huskers team felt like they had gotten their 'redemption back.' Shortly after this win, Murray and Jackson sat for a post-match press conference. They were asked about the win and how it felt to beat last year's national champions. Replying to this, Murray said (11:17 onwards):

"It feels great. It feels like we kind of got our redemption back from last year and that's something a lot of us never have forgotten and I am sure we won't. So, it feels great to come out here in the past few months and beat them in a sweep both times, especially in their gym because its a hard gym to play in, so, it's very cool for us," said Harper Murray.

Further, Jackson was asked about how it felt to celebrate the win in their home. Replying to this, she said: (12:29 onwards)

"I think Harper said it before, it's just so special getting to do it in front of our fans. And I think one thing that I'm super happy about too is our families are here. You know, when we're away, not everyone's family has the opportunity to go. So, I think it's just super special that they have the opportunity to come watch us celebrate and then like Harper said, the fans, they do so much for us and we want them to be a part of the special moment," said Jackson.

Along with both the players, the Nebraska volleyball team's head coach, Dani Busboom Kelly, also sat for the press conference. When asked about the win at home, she said (19:42 onwards):

"It feels great. I think it's a great opportunity when you have a chance to celebrate at home and um it's it just means a little bit more and again families. We have a bunch of recruits here so it's just fun to share that with everybody and future too like showing those recruits what it could be like in the future when they're here. So, a lot of positives to waiting a week and celebrating it here," said Busboom Kelly.
