Emotions overflowed as Nebraska Volleyball players Harper Murray, Andi Jackson, Allie Sczech, and others bid an emotional goodbye to seniors, Maisie Boesiger, Taylor Landfair, and Rebekah Allick on Senior Night. The Huskers capped the regular season with an incredible unbeaten 30-0 record.They recently played the last game of the regular season against Ohio State at Bob Devaney Sports Center, beating their opponents 25-16, 25-13, 25-20, and also honoring the seniors in their final home game.After the victory, Nebraska Volleyball gave the seniors, Maisie Boesiger, Taylor Landfair, Rebekah Allick, and Allie Sczech a celebratory send-off in the presence of their families. The night encompassed emotional tributes and speeches, recognition of achievements, walk-ins, and others. It also witnessed other players like Harper Murray and Andi Jackson breaking down on seeing their fellow players bid farewell.In a video circulating on the internet, Boesiger, who received her Libero jersey for the first time in her four-year college career, was seen hugging head coach Dani Busboom Kelly as the announcer called out her name during the honoring ceremony.The video also featured Allick, teary-eyed, being accompanied to the court by her family. The camera then panned to Harper Murray, who was unable to control her emotions. However, this year, they recorded their 29th straight win by defeating the defending champions, and heaved a sigh of relief by getting their 'redemption back'."It feels great. It feels like we kind of got our redemption back from last year and that's something a lot of us never have forgotten and I am sure we won't. So, it feels great to come out here in the past few months and beat them in a sweep both times, especially in their gym because its a hard gym to play in, so, it's very cool for us," Murray said when asked about the feeling, heading to the 2025 Nationals. Harper Murray has been a prominent player in the Huskers' program, contributing hugely to her team's win streak this season.
