Nebraska Volleyball player Andi Jackson recently opened up the team's recent game against the UCLA Bruins. The Nebraska Cornhuskers won the game against the Bruins by a margin of 3-1.
This was the first game since September 16 in which the Nebraska Volleyball team conceded a set against its opponents. Jackson [who is one of the team's three co-skippers] opened up about this aspect in a recent interview with Randy Silver.
During the interview, the 20-year-old middle blocker also acknowledged the brilliant resistance shown by the UCLA Bruins. In her words,
"They outplayed us. I mean, we just talked about it again on all fronts of the game. They outplayed us, outs served. Their offense was clicking. Their defense was incredible. And so again we just talked about it if we don't work hard. And that's what what our issue was. We weren't, we weren't working hard. Like simple as that. And they were really outplaying us." The Nebraska Volleyball team extended its invincible streak to 20-0 with the victory against the UCLA Bruins. The Huskers will now compete against the USC Trojans tomorrow, and then rest for a short while before facing the Iowa Hawkeyes on November 20.

Head coach of Nebraska Volleyball team, Dani Busboom Kelly continues to be cautiously optimstic about the team's chances this season. During the post-match interview, Kelly remarked,
"I wouldn't say there is anything like super unique or new that we are doing, just making sure that our practices are structured to set up like some really good match-ups, and when we mix up teams, that allows us to do that. But putting our players in challenging situations in practice against other players has been pretty important."
In another post-match interview after Nebraska Volleyball team's victory against the UCLA Bruins, coach Kelly further talked about how this 'setback' came at the right time as she mentioned,
“It was good for us to get tested, and then I thought we delivered. In some big moments, certain players who knew they were going to get the ball had to get the kill. It was great to see them do that under pressure."
Dani Busboom Kelly had previously represented the Nebraska Volleyball team as a player from 2003 to 2006. The head coach would like nothing better than to make a striking debut by winning back the NCAA Championship for the Huskers after eight years.
