The Nebraska Women's Volleyball team recently secured back-to-back wins in Los Angeles, California. On Friday, November 14, they competed against the UCLA Bruins at the Pauley Pavilion and secured a win with a 3-1 scoreline. Two days later, on Sunday, November 16, 2025, the Huskers faced the USC Trojans at the Galen Center, earning a dominating lead with 3-0.
In a recent press conference, when asked whether the huge crowd had any effect on the wins, coach Busboom Kelly reflected on their match against Rutgers, stating the crowd was excited and appreciative. She also highlighted how the fans reacted loudly during the rallies.
"It felt to me a lot like the Rutgers game. Just you know, people that traveled from far away and that can't make it to Lincoln or can't get tickets here, and they just want to see us play one time live, and I don't know, the vibe was great. It felt like a lot of people were on vacation, and then they came to check out a match, and those fans are always so excited and appreciative, and it just creates an awesome energy. Like somebody gets a great dig and the crowd goes wild, like in the middle of the rally. I mean, that's really fun atmosphere to be a part of. So, I loved the road games out there. They were great."
Against Rutgers on Sunday, October 4, 2025, the Nebraska Women's Volleyball team dominated with 25-17, 25-15, 25-16.
