The Nebraska Volleyball team has concluded the Big Ten Conference tournament on a solid note. The Nebraska Cornhuskers swept the Ohio State Buckeyes, defeating them by 3-0 to end the Big Ten Conference with a clean slate.
Head coach of the Nebraska Volleyball team, Dani Busboom Kelly, is extremely jubilant about this victory. She talked about the overall experience in the post-match press conference.
When asked about defeating the defending NCAA champions, i.e., the Penn State Nittany Lions, not once but twice, the head coach simply replied,
"I do think when you combine both of our wins against the Penn State, and that we did like, we played great twice on the way. That was a pretty big statement. So, what brings up there for me, that's great pleasure." [11:00 onwards]
The Nebraska Volleyball team hasn't lost a single match throughout the Big Ten Conference season. Except for the games against the Creighton Bluejays and the Kentucky Wildcats, the Nebraska Volleyball team has experienced mostly clean sweeps, or at least victory by a margin of 3-1.
The Nebraska Volleyball team will now rest for a while before the NCAA Championships commence from December 4 onwards. Dani Busboom Kelly will be aiming to end the title drought for the Nebraska Cornhuskers in her debut season as the head coach.

Dani Busboom Kelly previously reflected on the impact of the depth of the Nebraska Volleyball roster. The head coach of the Nebraska Volleyball team mentioned in a conversation during a post-match press conference held around November 20. In her words,
"It's been huge. I've said this since day one, and every single week since then, it's just, we mix up the team every day. Everybody has to be sharp, and everybody knows that somebody can come in and challenge them, and we're going to make changes when we need them. So, it's been great not only for rest and to have a lot of people rotate in positions, but it's been awesome to see people deliver in games and give everybody the confidence in each other," she said. Dani Busboom Kelly had replaced John Cook as the head coach of the Nebraska Volleyball team in December 2024. Kelly previously led the Louisville Cardinals to the 2024 NCAA Championships finals as their head coach.
