American sprinter Sha'Carri Richardson recently flaunted her new hairdo ahead of the upcoming holiday season. Richardson shared a glimpse of her new hairstyle on her Instagram profile.

Apart from her athletic prowess, the American sprinter is also well known for her penchant for adopting the latest fashion trends. Richardson recently uploaded a short reel of her new hairdo on her Instagram story.

The American sprinter dropped a three-word reaction to the new hairstyle as well in her Instagram story. Richardson wrote,

"The Holiday Countdown"

Sha'Carri Richardson further lip-synced to the song 'Already Her' in the reel, as she 'described' her look by saying,

"I'm already heard, chosen before I ever arrived. You can see it in my aura. You can hear it in my life."

Sha'Carri Richardson had a roller coaster of a season this year. The American sprinter had a disappointing outing at most of the Diamond League meets. However, she made up for it with her performance at the World Championships in Tokyo. Richardson led the anchor leg in the finals of the women's 4x100m relay as she won the gold medal for Team USA.

Sha'Carri Richardson previously opened up about the unwavering support from her female family members, which inspired her towards her journey in athletics. The American sprinter talked about the positive impact in a conversation with the famous Williams sisters [Serena Williams and Venus Williams] on the Stockton Street podcast as she remarked,

"I definitely feel there's strong energy in the presence of women in my life, especially strong black women.From my grandmother, to my aunt, to my mom, even to like...even teachers, coaches that I had. I feel like we are a big um...just inspiration to me when it comes to even the strongness I know I can have, like the power I know I can have, but well it's just like the nurturing."

The double Olympic medalist sprinter further added,

"I think life was a big thing receiving from just the black women and the black...women, the feminine energy I receive was the power and the nurturing as well, together that kind of feeds me to do things that I do today." (21:48 onwards)

Sha'Carri Richardson won two medals in her Olympic debut at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She won a silver medal in the women's 100m finals and a gold medal in the women's 4x100m relay finals.
