Sha'Carri Richardson and Christian Coleman Celebrate Thanksgiving with teammates as coach declares surprise day off

Sha'Carri Richardson and Christian Coleman were seen celebrating Thanksgiving with fellow athletes after their coach announced a day off from training. Richardson competed in her last race at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan, in September, where she claimed a gold medal in the 4x100m relay event.

Coleman also competed in his last race at the same Championships and won the same event in the men's category. Although the couple is navigating the off-season, they have continued their training under former Olympic sprinter Dennis Mitchell. They train together under the three-time Olympic medalist at the Star Athletics Track Club in Florida.

On the occasion of Thanksgiving, coach Mitchell announced a day off for the couple and other athletes training under him. Following this, Coleman shared a video of Richardson and the other athletes dancing in joy. Richardson was seen donning a blue jeans and a peach backless top.

Richardson and Coleman made their relationship public in 2024, when they made their first appearance together at the USATF Night of Legends for the USATF Wings Awards and Athlete of the Year Awards. Coleman shared a video of his and Richardson's hands, showcasing the other athlete's long and unique nails.

Sha'Carri Richardson apologizes to boyfriend Christian Coleman after being arrested before the USATF Nationals

Sha'Carri Richardson was arrested before the 2025 USATF Championships for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, Christian Coleman. They were seen getting involved in a heated argument. The CCTV footage of the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport showed her following Coleman while he tried to walk away from her.

The video footage also showed Richardson bumping into him multiple times while he stepped away from her. Additionally, Richardson was seen throwing a headphone at him. Days after the incident, she issued an apology and expressed her love for him.

"I apologize to Christian," Sha'Carri Richardson expressed," via CNN Sports. "He came into my life & gave me more than a relationship but a greater understanding of unconditional love from what I've experienced in my past. Due to my past trauma and pain I was blind and blocked off to not only receive it but give it. I love him and to him I can't apologize enough. My apology should be as loud as my actions honestly louder."

Christian Coleman forgave his girlfriend and backed her through the difficult time.
