Rebekah Alliack opened up about the Nebraska volleyball team's intense training sessions as they advanced in the season. She expressed how her teammates have been pushing themselves to their utmost limits to achieve the goal of winning the national title.
The Nebraska volleyball team displayed great dominance and has been unbeaten in the season so far with a 26-0 overall record and 14-0 in the Big Ten. Recently, the team's 45-unbeaten-set streak was broken by UCLA, who clinched the third set against the Huskers, but they were quick enough to regain their momentum and win the game in four sets.
The Huskers have been putting forward strong performances in both the offensive and defensive fronts since the beginning of the season, and the team's coordination has been talked about a lot on social media. Rebekah Allick spoke about the team's preparations for the season and spoke about their training in Episode 3 of Nebraska Volleyball's original series, 'The Epicenter.'
Allick shared how their training sessions are often very intense, and she tries her best to push her teammates to their limits while aiming for the pinnacle. Moreover, such a competitive training schedule with multiple variations that simulate match-like scenarios helps the Nebraska volleyball team to be prepared for any challenge in the season.
"How I describe the competition in our gym is that it's very intense, you get so into it she said (4:57). There have been emotional sixes. People have left crying before. My whole goal is to push and push everybody, and the best way to do this is by example. I am usually the first to get it wrong with tears, and this and that, and naturally, like everyone, being such competitors, it builds on itself. But yeah, it's very intense."
Moreover, Allick shared how the team's coach, Dani Busboom Kelly, plays an integral role in keeping the team motivated.
When Rebekah Allick shared her thoughts on Dani Busboom Kelly changing the Nebraska volleyball team's practice plan

Dani Busboom Kelly took over as the head coach of the Nebraska volleyball team for the 2025 season after former coach John Cook stepped down from the position after 25 years. Rebekah Allick spoke about training under the guidance of a new coach in a post-match interview.
She expressed her excitement for a new practice plan and shared that undergoing a change is usually hard; however, it would help her learn and push herself even further.
"Oh absolutely. It's kind of hard to say that one extra thing is already going to ignite that fire again, like change is hard. I thought that it was kind of interesting that she mentioned that she might change the practice plan. I thought that was crazy. But, I'm excited, it'll be fun," she said.
Moreover, she expressed her excitement to witness the team reach new heights under Busboom Kelly's guidance.
