Harper Murray expressed her thoughts about Bergen Reilly's impact on the Nebraska volleyball team as they continued their dominance in the 2025-26 season. The American athlete called her one of the 'best setters' in the country and expressed how her presence in the team plays a pivotal role in helping them continue their unbeaten streak in the season.
The Nebraska volleyball team recently defeated Minnesota with a score of 25-15, 25-21, 25-20 at the Maturi Pavilion. Bergen Reilly put forward a strong performance with 45 assists that set a career-high record for her in a three-set match. Moreover, she added six digs and three kills.
Harper Murray spoke about Bergen Reilly's performance in a post-match press conference and lauded her for her strong support of the team. Murray expressed how Reilly deserves the recognition that she is getting in the circuit.
"I'm not going to talk about how hard she works and all that stuff because we all know that she works hard, we all know that she wants to be the best. That goes without saying that she is obviously one of the best setters in the country, and I think she is proving that. She deserves all the recognition that she is getting, and I think she puts in the work, and she's helping that team be super successful. Like, half of the time, I don't even know if our passing numbers are great, but somehow we're still hitting 500 as a team, and that just speaks to Bergen and how good she is," she said. Harper Murray opens up about competing for the Nebraska volleyball team

Harper Murray spoke about competing for the Nebraska volleyball team in a post-match interview. The American shared how it is very competitive to play in a team like Nebraska, and not every player might get a chance to represent the team on the court every time.
The players then embrace different roles and actively contribute to the momentum of the team by cheering from the sidelines and showing their support.
"You know, coming to a school like Nebraska is not easy, and everyone has dreams of being on the court. That is not going to be the case for everyone all the time, and for every game, but I feel like that's something all the girls on our team are doing very well, embracing their role and being cheerleaders for us on the sidelines whenever they can," she added.
The Nebraska volleyball team will be in action against UCLA on November 14, 2025, at the Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles, California.
