Nebraska Volleyball's Laney Choboy shares glimpse of early Halloween with boyfriend Jeremiah Charles

Nebraska Volleyball player Laney Choboy shared a glimpse of an early Halloween celebration with her boyfriend, Jeremiah Charles. Charles is a fellow Nebraska player who represents the University in collegiate football as a defensive back.

The 20-year-old libero posed for the camera with her boyfriend, and later uploaded a grayscale photo on her Instagram story. While Choboy wore a shirt and white shorts, Jeremiah Charles was seen sporting a cowboy hat alongside a sleeveless T-shirt and jeans.

Laney Choboy dropped a three-word reaction for the occasion on her Instagram story. She wrote in the caption,

"Happy Early Halloween"

Laney Choboy would be in action on Halloween, i.e., October 31. After winning 20 consecutive games in a row this season, the Nebraska Volleyball team would be facing the Wisconsin Badgers for their next game. The Nebraska Volleyball team previously competed against the Michigan State Spartans on October 25. The Nebraska Cornhuskers won the match by 3-0.

Laney Choboy previously shared her reaction to Jeremiah Charles's appearance in a college football match. The libero cheered her boyfriend from the spectator stands, about which she later posted on her Instagram profile.

Laney Choboy previously talked about her performance in the current season, and her approach towards overcoming her flaws, if any. In a conversation with the 1890 Nebraska channel, the libero remarked,

“I would say just building my confidence. It was a thing that I have struggled with. So I think coming into this year, I have no reason why I wouldn't be confident. Like I've put in the work and I've done everything I need to do, so probably that, and I'm feeling really, really good about it.” (0:40 onwards)

In the same interview, Choboy recalled a memorable experience with a fan. In her words,

“I can't remember which year it was, freshman or sophomore year, but I... there’s actually two. So once, there was a girl that had Down syndrome, and I gave her my ball. And seeing her light up when I walked up the stairs to give her my ball was just like... the greatest feeling I’ve ever experienced."

Laney Choboy had joined the Nebraska Volleyball team in the 2023 season. The 20-year-old libero was a part of the team that missed out on the 2024 NCAA Championships, when they lost by a whisker to the eventual champions, the Penn State Nittany Lions.
