Chiles and Sosa chatted with a journalist from Extra TV after the grand finale about their overall experience. Jordan Chiles also reflected on the freestyle performance, which was regarded as one of the best in the last 20 years.

Jordan Chiles elaborated further on this point as she explained,

"I feel more than good. I'm so happy with everything that we've done. At the beginning of the season, I literally was like, 'I don't even know if I'm making it to the finale.' Like, who knows what's gonna happen? So, to be able to perform the way that we did today and go out there and do what we did, I thank I thank this guy right here. [referring to Ezra Sosa]."

Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa got rave reviews for their freestyle routine on the songs 'Bow Down' and 'Motivation'. The dancing duo received a perfect 30 from the jury members for the freestyle sequence, and were tied second alongside Robert Irwin and Witney Carson [who eventually won the season by audience vote] with a total of 89 out of 90.

"I can explain it like this. I've been in multiple situations as an athlete, when you are so close to making a team and so close that you feel like you've done everything. The competitive person in me and the athleticism that I have, I was honestly just like, 'You know what? I'm just going to go out there and do whatever.' So literally everything was a make or break situation. It's a lot, like my emotions are very, very high right now. Words can't express how happy I am to have Ezra [Sosa] as a partner. And I keep saying it over and over again, and people are probably getting tired of it, but like...."
