Jordan Chiles opened up about the impact of her performance with her father, Timothy, on the show Dancing with the Stars, stating it left fans emotional. Chiles' father joined her to perform a Viennese Waltz to 'Daughters' by John Mayer during week 5, which featured the 'Dedication Night' theme. The theme featured the participants dedicating their dance performances to their loved ones. Although Timothy was poised to perform a portion of the routine, he participated in the full dance, showing his impressive Fame and Cabaret experience. During an appearance on fellow Olympic medalist Ilona Maher's 'House of Maher' podcast, Chiles reflected on the dance, highlighting how it left several fans in tears."Ezra did take a risk, just like the judge said like taking a risk of having my dad in the full dance like that was something I felt like a lot of people needed to see the connection, the love," Chiles said. "It got a lot of tears from it because you know sometimes people don't understand what it's like to have that connection with somebody. My dad said that some person came up to him, and she was like, 'I literally called my dad after you guys went,' and I was like, 'That's what it was supposed to be about,' you know. I'm just happy he was there. He's such an amazing person."
