Nebraska Volleyball players Harper Murray, Rebehkah Allick, Taylor Landfair, Campbell Flynn, Keri Leimbach, and others have named the players and coach who are the loudest on the team. The Huskers are currently enjoying a victorious and dominating streak with a 24-0 record.They competed against the Minnesota team on Saturday, November 8, at the Maturi Pavilion in Minneapolis. They earned a dominating win with a 25-15, 25-21, 25-20 scoreline to record their 15th straight sweep victory of the season. With the win, they extended their consecutive sets wins streak to 46. In a fun media session amid their dominating run, the Huskers players named the team's biggest and loudest cheerleader. Leimbach, Flynn mentioned senior middle blocker Allick.Junior libero Laney Choboy mentioned herself. Her teammates, Allick and Landfair, agreed with Choboy. The players also revealed the loudest coach, including Andi Jackson, Maisie Boesiger, Bergen Reilly, Harper Murray, Olivia Mauch, Tereya Sigler, Ryan Hunter, Allick, and Leimbach, who mentioned the Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator, Jaylen Reyes. Allick also mentioned him, stating:"He gets so lit."Kenna Cogill also agreed with Allick, saying:"Definitely Jaylen, a 100% Jaylen."Sigler mentioned Reyes, saying:"He is the loudest person ever."Masie Boesiger added:"Depends on the day, but probably Jaylen." They were selected in the 14-member semifinalists list, which also included Pittsburgh Panthers' Olivia Babcock. The list was released by the AVCA Division I Women’s Volleyball Awards Committee.The final list of the award will be released on 15 December. Murray, Jackson, and Reilly have earned the nomination after their impressive performance this season, which has helped the Huskers to be undefeated. Murray surpassed 1000 career kills in October, while securing a spot on the East vs. West All-Star Game roster and earning the Big Ten Player of the Week honor.Nebraska Volleyball's Jackson has been recording remarkable statistics, having scored nine kills on nine swings on November 7 against Illinois. The 2025 AVCA Division I National Player of the Year award ceremony, presented by Nike Volleyball, will be held on Friday, December 19.
