The Nebraska Volleyball team is all set for the final showdown at the Big Ten Conference tournament this season. The Huskers will be facing the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Ohio State Buckeyes in consecutive games from tonight onwards.Meanwhile, the Nebraska Volleyball players, including the co-skippers Bergen Reilly and Rebekah Allick, as well as veteran players like Harper Murray indulged in a fun chat with the B1G Network. Nebraska Volleyball has played 28 games till now, and hasn't lost even one of them. However, the Nebraska Volleyball team won't rest until they have secured the coveted NCAA championship. The Nebraska Cornhuskers had last won the title in the 2017 season, and since then, they have reached the finals thrice : in 2018, 2021, and 2023 respectively. Kelly had won the NCAA Championships as a player in the 2006 season and had been part of the 2015 NCAA Championships victory as the assistant coach.Under her leadership, the Nebraska Cornhuskers focused on an all-out attack, turning even the defense into an opportunity for counterattack. The Nebraska Volleyball team opened its account against the Pittsburgh Panthers on August 22, which the Huskers won by 3-1.The Nebraska Volleyball team won almost all their games by either 3-0 or at least a significant margin of 3-1. The only two exceptions were the games against the Kentucky Wildcats and the Creighton Bluejays, respectively. Both teams gave the Nebraska Cornhuskers a tough competition before being edged out by 2-3.
