Thomas competed in her last race of the 2025 season at the USATF Outdoor Championships, where she secured a bronze medal in the 200m event. Thomas began her athletics journey after playing soccer and softball. She attended Williston Northampton High School before joining the University of Texas. During her junior season, the American sprinter won the 200m race at the NCAA Indoor Championship.
