Head coach of the Nebraska Volleyball team, Dani Busboom Kelly, recently reflected on the inputs from the game against the Oregon Ducks. The Nebraska Cornhuskers extended their winning streak to 22-0 after defeating Oregon Ducks by 3-0.
In a post match press conference, the head coach of Dani Busboom Kelly opened up about the experience against the Oregon team. She also appreciated the opponents for proving to be more than a match, despite the one-sided result.
In the press conference after the game, Dani Busboom Kelly commented on how the Oregon Ducks forced the Nebraska Volleyball to 'raise their level'. She said,
"I mean we can simulate that. It's always just different when you get out there, live and and see it, and um I, I don't think we were surprised by it. I just think they're very good and so um they force you to raise your level." [1:40 onwards]
The Nebraska Volleyball team previously won their game against the Wisconsin Badgers, whom they defeated by 3-0, without conceding a single set. The Nebraska Cornhuskers will now face the teams of Illinois Fighting Illini and the Minnesota Golden Gophers in back to back games on November 6 & November 8 respectively.

Dani Busboom Kelly previously opened up how the Nebraska Volleyball team maintains its invincible streak against other teams. In an interview after the game against Wisconsin Badgers, the head coach remarked,
"I wouldn't say there is anything like super unique or new that we are doing, just making sure that our practices are structured to set up like some really good match-ups, and when we mix up teams, that allows us to do that. But putting our players in challenging situations in practice against other players has been pretty important. I feel yesterday was one of our most competitive practices in a while, so that was a great sign. I think in October, when you can walk from practice and say that. So, proud of them for that." Dani Busboom Kelly has seen success both as a player and an assistant coach for the Nebraska Volleyball team. The head coach had previously led the Louisville Cardinals to the finals of the 2024 NCAA Championships before she was appointed as the head coach in place of the outgoing coach, John Cook.
