Lindsey Vonn spoke opened up about her comeback while comparing herself to Tom Brady and Lewis Hamilton. Vonn previously announced her retirement in 2019 after suffering a major knee injury and the recurring effects. Six years after navigating a period of recurring injuries and her retirement, the American skier underwent a successful partial knee replacement surgery, which opened the gates for her comeback. After undergoing the knife in April 2024, she announced her comeback in November of the same year. In a recent interview with The Red Bulletin, Vonn opened up about her comeback, stating that if Lewis Hamilton and Tom Brady can keep succeeding as they get older, she too can achieve it. "I think this comeback is really just about me having a second chance at doing something that I love, but I also realize that the message is much bigger than just myself. I'll be 41 when the Olympics come around, and I already had the record for the oldest Alpine Olympic medalist at 33. If Brady (Tom Brady) can do it, Lewis Hamilton can do it. I can do it. Anyone can do it." View this post on Instagram Instagram PostThe legendary quarterback Tom Brady (48) is poised to make his comeback in an attempt to compete at the 2028 Games.
