Harper Murray weighed in on Bergen Reilly's contribution and impact on Nebraska volleyball despite her facing massive struggles. The team's unbeaten streak came to an end with their latest match, and they are now eliminated from the ongoing NCAA tournament.

The Huskers's latest appearance on the court was on December 14 during the regional final of the Championship. The team suffered its first loss of the season against Texas A&M, which led to their elimination from the tournament. The opponent team claimed an impressive 3-2 (25-22, 25-22, 20-25, 35-37, 15-13) win, securing a spot in the national semi-finals.

Following this match, the team sat for a press conference, where Murray was asked about Reilly not feeling well this week. Replying to this, the outside hitter opened up about Reilly's situation and opened up about the latter's impact on the Nebraska volleyball team. (5:25 onwards)

"Yeah, it's tough. I mean, she's not feeling her best. whatsoever. And it's hard to go into the locker room and see her feeling that way because I mean she's such a big part of our team and I don't know how she did it, but she found a way to still make good decisions and get balls up on defense and set us," said Harper Murray.

She added:

"And that's not easy. It's really not. And she's the best setter I've ever played with and will probably ever play with. And the fact that she could go out there feeling as sick as she does and still work her butt off and play like that is it's truly amazing. And I mean I love her to death."

Harper Murray shared her honest opinions about the pressure on the Nebraska volleyball team after reaching the top 16

The Nebraska volleyball team earned their place in the Sweet 16 play after besting Kansas State on December 6. They dominated the clash and registered a 25-17, 25-21, 25-16 win at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. Following this win, Harper Murray sat for a press conference, where she opened up about the pressure on her team.

Expressing gratitude about reaching the top 16, the 20-year-old spoke about how their upcoming opponents would strategize on breaking their unbeaten streak. Making her feelings known about competing against tougher teams, she said: (3:35 onwards)

"We really need to take in the moments and appreciate that we're able to be here. Not every team is able to play in the Sweet 16, and just being grateful that we're here and learning from that because teams again, like I said earlier, teams are going to find ways to score," said Harper Murray.

"They're going to have to figure out different ways. So us just adjusting to that and just being grateful for where we are and I think we can just take away that teams we're not invincible, like teams are going to put their best fight up against us and as they should and they deserve our best effort too."

In the aforementioned press conference, Harper Murray also opened up about her team facing a tough challenge from the Kansas State.
