Defenceman Filip Hronek did not practice with the team on Saturday, due to an illness, and therefore his status for the game vs. Flames remains unclear. He was replaced by P.O. Joseph, who will potentially retain that spot if Hronek does not play on Sunday.

After a tough 4-2 loss to the Dallas Stars, Vancouver showed great effort in their practice session before taking on the Calgary Flames on Sunday night.

“They had a great effort. They were working on some things, and they were into it. They’re upbeat, so it was a good practice. We could take care of some things,” said head coach Adam Foote after Saturday's practice via NHL's official website.
