The Vancouver Canucks will kick off their four-game road trip on Wednesday with a clash against the Anaheim Ducks, who have been one of the most surprising NHL teams this season. The Ducks hold the No. 1 spot in the Pacific Division due to their 14-7-1 record, whereas Vancouver is seventh with a 9-12-2 record.
The Canucks will be without their No. 2 goalie, Kevin Lankinen, for the entirety of the upcoming road trip, and the goaltending responsibilities are likely to be shared between Jiri Patera and Thatcher Demko, who may make a return to the lineup sometime during this road trip.

The Vancouver Canucks made another roster move on Tuesday, when they reassigned forward MacKenzie MacEachern to the AHL's Abbotsford. The team has not revealed who will take MacEachern's place in the lineup, but it could be Arshdeep Bains or Lukas Reichel, who may potentially return to the lineup tonight for the game against Anaheim.
Thatcher Demko has reportedly joined the team on the four-game road trip, but his playing status vs. the Ducks is not confirmed yet.
