[Must See] Scenes from Bruins Halloween party ft. Charlie McAvoy as Glinda the Good, David Pastrnak as Kevin McCallister, alongside their partners

Boston Bruins stars and their partners celebrated Halloween with creativity and humor this year, sharing a series of themed costume photos on Instagram over the weekend.

David Pastrnak and his partner Rebecca Rohlsson were among the first to post, posing together at home in costumes inspired by the classic holiday film Home Alone. Pastrnak dressed as Kevin McCallister complete with a blonde wig, winter hat, oversized jacket, scarf and even mimicking Kevin’s iconic shocked facial expression with his palms pressed to his cheeks.

Rebecca complemented the theme with a detailed portrayal of the Pigeon Lady from Home Alone 2: Lost in New York wearing a burgundy cloak and a weathered hat adorned with miniature pigeons and feathers.

“Okay, I’ll be Kevin for today,” Pastrnak captioned the story.

Charlie McAvoy and his wife Kiley Sullivan chose the movie Wicked as their Halloween inspiration. The Bruins defenseman wore a full Glinda the Good Witch costume with a pink gown, long blonde wig, silver crown and wand.

Kylie dressed as the Wicked Witch of the West with green face and hand makeup, a black dress, witch’s hat and round glasses.

Jeremy Swayman and his fiancee Alessandra Iacoboni followed the same Wizard of Oz theme. Where Alessandra dressed as Dorothy with a blue gingham dress, braided pigtails, white blouse, blue socks and ruby slippers.

Swayman wore a full Tin Man costume with a metallic silver suit, funnel hat and silver face paint. A group photo showed McAvoy, Swayman, Sullivan and Iacoboni standing together on a yellow brick road mat.

More images from the team party showed other Bruins partners and friends in various costumes. Costumes in the group included Jack Sparrow, Waldo, the Queen of Hearts, a construction worker and other movie and pop culture characters.

Jeremy Swayman and fiancee also went bananas on Halloween

Earlier this weekend, Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman and his fiancee Alessandra sported matching banana costumes during a Halloween outing.

Alessandra shared Instagram stories showing Swayman walking hand-in-hand with a young trick-or-treater, both dressed as bananas. The child also had a on Bruins beanie and held a pumpkin-shaped candy bucket.

Another story showed the couple with friends, all in banana outfits, gathered in a park. Swayman posed holding a banana, while Alessandra crouched beside the young child in front.

The Halloween appearance follows their recent engagement announcement earlier last month. The couple revealed the news on Instagram with photos from the proposal including Swayman lifting Alessandra and Alessandra showing her engagement ring.
