Obviously that didn't happen, but I'm just trying to focus on hockey and the guys are right there with me and they kind of knew what was going on a little bit too before the game. So I found it after warm-ups that she was at the hospital,” he added emotionally.“It's something that I don't think I'll ever experience again. Hopefully no one does. I'm kind of just feeling helpless, but luckily I had the guys here,” he said. “I'm looking forward to getting on the plane and going home to see her.” View this post on Instagram Instagram PostHe also credited the support of his teammates during the game calling it “a brotherhood we have in here” and shared that his fellow Capitals ensured he felt supported despite the circumstances.Dylan Strome’s wife Tayler hails him the ‘best dad’Hours after giving birth and after Dylan’s emotional post-game comments, Tayler Strome shared a couple of Instagram stories offering a first glimpse at baby Sutton and a loving message to her husband. The first photo showed the newborn resting in a hospital bassinet wrapped in blankets.
