The Toronto Maple Leafs received tough news as both Auston Matthews and Anthony Stolarz are not expected to play tonight. The Leafs are going to play the LA Kings in a home game at Scotiabank Arena, Toronto.Darren Dreger reported that the injuries are not believed to be serious, but the team will still be without two key players. Toronto also recalled goalie Artur Akhtyamov, while Scott Laughton was placed on injured reserve retroactive to November 8.Matthews left Tuesday’s 5-3 loss to the Boston Bruins after taking a hit into the sideboards from Nikita Zadorov. He did not return for the third period. Dennis Hildeby replaced him in the net and completed the Bruins' game. Stolarz’s injury does not appear serious, and he was expected to be fine. Still, the recall of Akhtyamov suggests Toronto wants extra depth in the crease.The loss to Boston capped a rough stretch for the Maple Leafs, who have now dropped three straight games.
