Vancouver Canucks forward David Kampf and his wife Elisha are going to be a family of four. On Wednesday, Elisha Kampf announced the exciting news on Instagram sharing a heartwarming carousel of family photos revealing that she and the former Toronto Maple Leafs forward are expecting their second child.She captioned the post, writing:“Sibling squad is getting bigger 🐶👦🐣 Baby #2 arriving March 2026 ❤️ 📸 @lovebyhavlova.”One of the photos showed their son Michael standing beside their family dog, wearing a sweater that reads “Velký brácha” which is Czech for “Big Brother.” Another frame saw David and Elisha sharing a quiet moment together, with David’s hands resting gently on her baby bump. A great chapter of my life but the time has come to move on. Excited for the future with Canucks!”Kampf’s farewell came after a tense and unusually public end to his time in Toronto. The Leafs placed him on unconditional waivers for the purpose of terminating the four-year contract he signed in 2023.Before that, Kampf had been assigned to the AHL’s Toronto Marlies where he appeared in four games before taking what the organization described internally as an unsanctioned leave of absence. The team later suspended him without pay.With the termination finalized, Kampf became a free agent and last week he signed a one-year, $1.1-million deal with the Vancouver Canucks.
