Connor McDavid’s wife Lauren Kyle spent the weekend in Pioneertown, California, where she joined several partners of former and current Oilers players for a desert getaway that included horseback riding and time at one of the area’s modern rental homes.
The group, which included Cody Ceci’s wife Jamie, Warren Foegele’s wife Alexandra, and Zach Hyman’s wife Alannah, shared a series of stories throughout the trip with Lauren resharing several of them on her own account.
One of the stories originally shared by Alexandra showed the outside of a classic wooden lodge-style structure decorated with pumpkins and desert plants. Another clip captured the group on horseback, with Lauren riding through open desert trails behind a guide.

Additional footage showed the horses gathered near a stable at dusk illuminated by warm exterior lights. Other moments showed a quieter part of the weekend including a patio scene overlooking the desert sunset where two members of the group relaxed on modern outdoor seating.
Another story showed two saddled horses resting under a large Joshua tree in a corral area. One of the final stories featured the group inside a contemporary rental home with floor-to-ceiling glass windows lounging on a white sofa.
Pioneertown, a small high-desert community near Joshua Tree, is known for its preserved Old West architecture and its origins as a functioning 1940s movie set built by Hollywood figures.

Earlier this week, Connor McDavid’s wife Lauren Kyle advanced her latest Sports Club Atelier rollout as the brand released new behind-the-scenes footage from its racing-inspired campaign.
On Friday, Lauren reposted a production reel titled “Spend a day on set w/ @laurenkyle1 & SCA” confirming the drop of the long-teased Oil Crew Canvas Jacket. The reel followed Lauren on set with other models as she appeared in multiple scenes across the production.
Lauren was shown posing in several campaign looks including the new racing-themed jacket. The Oil Crew Canvas Jacket featured a paneled orange, white and navy layout constructed from structured canvas with embroidered patches across the chest and sleeves and lettering down the arm.
She styled the look with a brown team-branded cap that had been teased in earlier promotional materials. In a second Instagram story reshared from the brand’s account, Lauren was seen wearing the jacket from inside a vehicle. The original caption read:
“@laurenkyle1 in the Oil Crew Canvas Jacket.”
The reel featured additional outfits worn by Lauren during the shoot including a navy crewneck paired with white trousers beside a blue performance car as well as a blue striped knit featured in track-side frames.
