Brad Marchand pens wholesome birthday message for wife Katrina

This weekend, Brad Marchand’s wife Katrina celebrated her birthday and the Florida Panthers forward marked the special occasion with a teasing yet wholesome tribute to her.

On Sunday, Marchand posted a carousel of family photos on his Instagram, alongside a caption that read:

“Happy Birthday to our rock. We wouldn’t be us without you! Thank you for all that you do every day to be the most incredible wife and mother we could ever have asked for ! We love you so much @kasloane …. Even when you’re a pain in the A**”

The post featured photos of Katrina with their children. The images showed the kids in different settings including Christmas morning at home, traveling, outdoor activities and group portraits of all five of them together.

Marchand and Katrina married in 2015 after several years together. Their oldest daughter Sawyer was born in 2017 and their younger daughter Rue arrived in 2022. Katrina also has a son Sloane from a previous relationship.

Earlier last week, Brad Marchand reached the 1,000 NHL-point milestone and his wife Katrina marked the moment with a series of behind-the-scenes Instagram stories.

Marchand hit the benchmark last Thursday against the Washington Capitals assisting on an empty-net goal late in the third period to secure point No. 1,000 in a 6-3 Panthers win. Katrina’s first story showed Marchand entering the locker room in full gear as teammates soaked him with champagne and water.

Her next stories included a Panthers graphic labeled “1000” and:

“We are so proud of you @bmarch63 ❤️”

She also posted an on-ice team photo of Panthers players surrounding Marchand followed by a separate post featuring a full locker-room group picture with Marchand at the center.

“1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ looks good on you @bmarch63 😍,” Katrina captioned the post.

Marchand is now the 102nd player in NHL history to reach 1,000 career points. After the game, Marchand said having family present made the night more meaningful:

“I hoped it would be tonight, I had the family here… It was nice to do it at home.”

Brad Marchand was traded to Florida in March after spending his entire career in Boston and was a major contributor in the Panthers’ 2025 Stanley Cup run.
