Billboard recently created a list of Taylor Swift songs, best to use for first dances at weddings, and netizens have many things to say. On November 17, 2025, a fan account of the 35-year-old American singer-songwriter shared on the social media platform X, a list of songs, writing:

“Billboard picks the best Taylor Swift songs to use for first-dances at weddings.”

In an article published on Monday, November 17, 2025, Billboard released a list featuring “absolute best” Taylor Swift songs to “use for the first dance” at a wedding in honor of the artist herself getting engaged to her beau, Travis Kelce. Notably, the songs were some of the top choices from the staff of Billboard.

While the list contained many of the fan favorites, including Lover, Daylight, Paper Rings, and Our Song, netizens were quick to share their reactions. Sharing their thoughts under the X post by The Taylor Swift Updates, a fan questioned Billboard’s choice of not including the track Speak Now from Swift’s third studio album of the same name.

Other fans also voiced their opinions. As several fans complained about the addition of Eldest Daughter, which is on Swift’s latest and twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, another shared similar thoughts about including the song Daylight from her 2019 album, Lover.

Meanwhile, some fans also celebrated the inclusion of their favorite songs on Billboard’s list of songs that are played during the traditional first dance of the bride and groom.
