50 Cent has reacted to a new image of Sean "Diddy" Combs from his time in jail. The rapper was sentenced to 50 months in prison on October 3 after conviction on two counts of transportation for prostitution.

Combs was arrested in September 2024 on multiple charges of alleged sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution. After his trial earlier this year, he was acquitted of charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. He was sentenced to 50 months in prison with 5 years of supervised release and a fine of $50,000.

He spent his sentence at the Metropolitan Detention Center before being transferred to Fort Dix in New Jersey on October 30. Recently, images of Diddy from the prison came out, where he was seen interacting with some prisonmates and smiling.

50 Cent, Combs' long-term rival, shared the image on his Instagram account on Monday, November 3, and wrote in the caption:

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, has taken numerous digs at Combs since his arrest in September 2024. He reacted to reports of the latter allegedly being threatened by a knife in prison, writing in a now-deleted Instagram post on October 22:

"😟is he snitching now, 🥲they put a knife 🔪 to is Neck and said South Side we out side. LOL @50centaction"

Following his sentencing, the rapper's team requested the judge to transfer him to Fort Dix “in order to address drug abuse issues and to maximize family visitation and rehabilitative efforts.”

In his order, Judge Arun Subramanian asked the prison bureau to sentence Sean Combs to a prison “as close as possible to the New York metropolitan area." He added that the rapper should be considered for “any available substance abuse program, including the Bureau of Prisons’ Residential Drug Abuse Program.”

Sean Combs' friend said the rapper allegedly woke up with a knife pointed to his neck

Diddy's friend, Charlucci Finney, told the Daily Mail on October 22 that a knife was allegedly pointed at the rapper's throat when he was sleeping. He said that it was perhaps a threatening tactic because the person wielding the weapon could've easily harmed Combs.

Finney said:

"He woke up with a knife to his throat. I don't know whether he fought him off or the guards came, I just know that it happened."
"If this guy had wanted to harm him, Sean would have been harmed. It would only take a second to cut his throat with a weapon and kill him. It was probably a way to say: 'Next time you ain't gonna be so lucky'. Everything is intimidation. But with Sean it won't work. Sean is from Harlem," he added.

The incident took place at the Metropolitan Detention Center, after which the rapper was transferred to Fort Dix. Some recent reports specified his potential release date as May 8, 2028.
