Singer Charisse Mills recently revealed that she broke up with rapper Luce Cannon, accusing her former partner of extorting and blackmailing her. For the uninitiated, Cannon is reportedly in prison as one of the 19 individuals indicted under RICO as part of the Operation Draw Down federal investigation, which also included music manager Eugene “Big U” Henley Jr.

On December 7, 2025, the official X account for No Jumper posted a clip of Charisse Mills announcing her breakup with Luce Cannon. In the video, Mills blamed the rapper's lying and not his incarceration as the reason for their split, further accusing Cannon of manipulating people and bad-mouthing her behind her back.

"I am leaving Luce Cannon. Let's just get that clear, since y'all really want to know. And it's not because he's in jail. It's not because he may be facing some time. It's because he continues to lie. And I cannot tolerate it anymore. And not just lie to y'all, lie to me, okay?" she said.

Charisse Mills continued:

"You can lie to anybody else, but when I give you ample enough time to actually keep it a buck, you continue to lie, and then you want to manipulate people and go and talk bad about me to people that put you a** in to begin with."

Mills added that she decided to film the video to "set the record straight," adding that she would be willing to "ride or die" with Luce Cannon if he "kept it real" and remained honest with her. Mills also said that she had no desire to bash Cannon as they share a child, but continued to allege that the rapper was attempting to extort or blackmail her, saying:

"I decided to make this video to set the record straight. No, I wasn't leaving him cause of him being in jail, cause I would've ride or die if he kept it real with me. But no, he wanted to continue to lie, even to this day. He is my child's father, so I'm not gonna go bash him, as much as I can. Because you know, he's trying to now extort me or blackmail me, or whatever the hell."

Charisse Mills previously claimed that Luce Cannon was stabbed in prison

In March 2025, Luce Cannon was arrested as part of Operation Draw Down and indicted for a "federal RICO complaint that includes allegations of murder, human trafficking, and extortion," as reported by TMZ. The indictment also alleged that Big U, one of the accused, was the alleged leader of the Rollin' 60s Neighborhood Crips street gang.

Following his arrest, Luce Cannon was placed in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles along with fellow rapper Bricc Baby, who was also arrested as part of the investigation. In June 2025, Charisse Mills claimed that Luce Cannon was stabbed at the MDC.

According to VladTV, Charisse Mills took to YouTube to post a phone recording of her conversation with an MDC employee, who supposedly confirmed the alleged attack. The employee claimed that Cannon was attacked by five Hispanic inmates, with Mills adding in the video's caption:

"We do not condone any violence and support all. This is NOT a race issue nor intended to divide the Blacks and Browns. This is a call I received yesterday and I still have not heard from Luce Cannon. I call and they do not tell you anything."

In another update, Charisse Mills claimed that an attorney "verified that Luce Cannon was medically treated for a knife wound 6/10/25.” However, Mills' claim was widely disputed by Luce Cannon's estranged wife, Gigi, and Bricc Baby, who previously claimed that he and Cannon were cellmates at the MDC.

According to Hot New Hip Hop, Bricc Baby dismissed Charisse Mills' claims of Cannon's attack via a phone call from prison, saying there was no way the rapper got stabbed "in the middle of a lockdown."

Meanwhile, Gigi issued her response via YouTube, saying:

“Y’all, the cap is real. Charisse Mills is a lie. Luce Cannon was not stabbed. Don’t believe the cap.”

There have been no official updates regarding the RICO case against Big U, Luce Cannon, and the others at the time of this article.
