Katy Perry surprised fans after releasing her new single Bandaids with a music video on November 6, 2025. Perry first teased the song via an Instagram post on November 4, uploading a picture of herself with cuts on her face. Bandaids, which marked the singer's first song in 2025, seemingly addresses her recent breakup with her fiancé, Orlando Bloom.

The song's music video follows Katy Perry on a Final Destination-esque adventure as she faces multiple near-death experiences. These include cutting her hand in the garbage disposal, getting her shoelace caught on an escalator, and a gas station explosion.

The music video also includes a reference to Daisy Dove, her and Orlando Bloom's five-year-old daughter. During the song's bridge, Katy Perry's foot gets stuck in a train track. As she attempts to free her leg, she sees a daisy growing nearby, which renews her efforts to escape. This shot is coupled with the pop star singing:

"If I had to do it all over again/ I would still do it all over again/ The love that we made was worth it in the end/ Oh yeah, oh yeah/ If I had to do it all over again/ I would still do it all over again/ The love that we made was worth it in the end/ Oh yeah."

"143 to me was literally me saying I love you to my fans. Looking back now, I realize it has been all about reconnecting to my fans through these songs and through this wonderful tour that has given me the opportunity to see so many of you again and for the first time. We cats (and rats) have been through a rollercoaster, but wherever the ride took us, we have been together. I am so proud of the community we are and growing to become," she wrote.

"Lately I have been seeing 341 which has me thinking now after giving so much… do I love myself, finally? Well, I get the opportunity to answer that question anew every day. Today’s answer is yes.
