A video of Young Thug performing shirtless during his set at ComplexCon recently went viral after fans noticed that the rapper's tattoos were seemingly gone. The YSL rapper, who usually has tattoos all over his arms and torso, appeared ink-free during his headlining act on October 26, 2025.

This led to an intense online discussion about the rapper's tattoos, with many wondering if he got them removed. On October 28, 2025, popular X account @FearedBuck, which has over 1.1 million followers, also posted about the apparent disappearance of Thug's tattoos, resulting in more scrutiny into the issue.

One X user believed that the rapper used makeup to cover up his tattoos instead of removing them.

"That’s gotta be makeup. no way he got all of those removed that quickly."

However, others said the low quality of the video and dim lighting at the venue made it seem like Young Thug did not have any tattoos.

Young Thug entered a mosh pit during his ComplexCon performance

Young Thug was one of the many performers who headlined day two of ComplexCon, which was held on October 25 and 26 in Las Vegas. The rapper performed a 26-song setlist with special appearances from Ty Dolla $ign, Quavo, and 1300SAINT, among others. During one part of his performance, the rapper seemed displeased with the mosh pits in the crowd and took it upon himself to start one.

Surrounded by an entourage, the rapper walked into the crowd and encouraged them to put their phones down and "f**king rage." Several fans tried to move closer to him to take pictures with him, resulting in the rapper warning people to stop pushing and move back to open up space for him to perform.

“I didn’t come here to take pictures, I came over here to f**king rage. Move the phones and let's rage...Stop pushing. Stop pushing. Yo, yo, yo, yo, open it up,” he said.

Young Thug's setlist for ComplexCon included his older hits like Hot and Check and several songs from his latest album, UY Scuti, which was released last month. According to Complex, Quavo joined him for Bad and Boujee while Ty Dolla $ign appeared for TYCOON$. Young Thug also performed bada bing, bada boom with Tezzus and Revenge with 1300SAINT and Lil Gotit.

Young Thug's ComplexCon performance is one of his few live shows since his release from prison a year ago after the YSL RICO trial. On September 28, 2025, the rapper held a surprise concert outside the Fulton County Courthouse, where the trial was held in Atlanta.

Amid the show, he also explained why he chose the courthouse as the venue for his free concert, saying that the place "changed [his] life forever."

“This place shaped me — changed my life… Shout-out to the whole police academy for letting me perform here. This is not the place to be on the bad side, life is much more than this. That’s why I wanted to do it here. This isn’t a flex… This place changed my life forever,” he said.

“We got rid of our problems and I hope you find a way to get rid of yours. Life is precious, so I just want everybody to be better. Even if it’s worth something, it’s not worth losing people. It’s not worth living that type of life...Stop the violence in this city, man,” he added.
