SZA and her NOT charity initiative have partnered with the Los Angeles-based restaurant chain Jon & Vinny’s to provide 1,400 free meals to individuals who receive SNAP benefits. But it ain’t no fun if the homies can’t have none!"The Italian restaurant added:“Last week [SZA] reached out to us with an idea and now, with her help, it’s a reality. The meals can be picked up as takeout from the restaurant’s Slauson location from 3 to 5 p.m. Jon and Vinny’s will be handing out pizzas, pastas, and garlic bread to the residents who get the SNAP benefits.SNAP benefits (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) are a U.S. federal program that provides food-purchasing assistance to low- and no-income individuals and families to help them get a more nutritious diet.
