A typing error by the ticket management company Ticketmaster mistakenly drove up the price of Olivia Dean's show. To support her recently released sophomore album, The Art of Loving, Dean announced a world tour. On November 14, she unveiled the North American leg of this tour. The ticket presale for this tour started on November 18 on Ticketmaster.

However, some fans found the tickets too pricey. An X user shared several screenshots showing the ticket price, $753. The user was attempting to purchase a ticket for the Boston TD Garden show scheduled for August 10 next year. While expressing frustration, the user wrote:

"Raise ur hand if ur not seeing Olivia Dean next year because Ticketmaster is f*cked and charges insane prices and lets bots buy out the whole venue."

The user tagged Ticketmaster and Olivia Dean's fan page in the post. However, on Wednesday, the ticket management company replied to the post and issued a clarification for the expensive ticket. Ticketmaster acknowledged that the high price was due to a "typo."

"Appreciate you flagging this. The price was a typo, but has since been updated to the correct $53.45 all in price. Refunds for the difference have been automatically issued," the company replied.
